Those awfully nice people at Mumsnet have invited me to join them in an online chat at 1pm UK time on Wednesday September 2nd.
So, if you have any questions about computer security, privacy and internet safety, please do join in.
The timing is quite good, as malicious hackers have recently been targeting the Mumsnet website with denial-of-service attacks and even tricked police into sending an armed response team to the home of site founder Justine Roberts.
The focus of this web chat, however, will be providing help and advice to Mumsnet’s users rather than the site itself.
Read more, and participate, by visiting this link to the Mumsnet site. If you can’t be there “live” you can always post a question in advance.
As I mentioned on Twitter, being asked to do a web chat on Mumsnet is quite a big deal…
My wife is unimpressed if I'm on the front page of The Times, and misses me on TV, but when I told her I'm doing a webchat for MumsNet…

It should be lots of fun, so see you there!
