Best security blogI’m delighted to announce that Graham Cluley Security News won the title of “Best Security Blog” at the Bytes that Rock 2015 awards, announced yesterday.

I must admit, it’s a fantastic feeling to be recognised.

Thousands of bloggers in different fields make the world a smarter, funnier, and kinder place by sharing their thoughts and opinions online.

It’s easy to feel like you are talking into a void, but when readers leave comments, or reward you by going to the effort of voting it is tremendously satisfying.

Well deserved Graham. You're my first-blog-of-the-day. Thanks for all the hard work and accurate insights

Congratulations, Graham. Definitely well deserved indeed. As I've pointed out before, the fact you can make it light enough for those who aren't technically inclined… and still be informative is a huge thing. Keep up the good work.

    I also really like this:

' If you haven't already done so – check out some of those other blogs, as they have some great content to share with you and deserve your support.'

Because it shows gratitude (really important thing that is underrated!) and it also introduces people to (and reminds the rest about) other websites out there that might be helpful in other ways (different articles, different writing style, etc.).

Congratulations Graham ! I had to temporarily adjust my settings on my isp account in order to vote for you, looks like it paid off (-:

Seriously though, it is a likability factor as well as your expertise and others. Your hard work, and diligence are paying dividends. Many times in Google Searches of the top one hundred, fifty,or twenty-five best security blogs, you are always listed near the top of the list. So,your contemporaries think highly of you and your work as well.

    Thanks, from a loyal follower!

Yippee, the more that hear about you then the more subscribers and hopefully less infected computers. Well it's nice to dream.
