Comment reply notification on the website

Comment reply notification on the websiteThere was a flood of comments on one particular article at the end of last week, which resulted in some users contacting me to ask if there was an easy way to be notified if someone replied to comments they left on my site.

I’ve had a little tinker and added a new feature to the site, allowing you to choose if you want to be emailed whenever someone comments on your comment – or indeed posts any further comment at all on a particular article.

Comment notification option

The default for notification is off, naturally.

I’m just trialling this feature at the moment, so it may change or even disappear if it doesn’t work out.

Let me know – by leaving a comment :) – if you have any opinions.

    Good man.

Graham, slight functionality loss since this update; after posting a comment, the option to edit it for 5 minutes (which I really like) no longer automatically appears. If I refresh the page it does then show up.

Thanks for letting me know. I agree it's useful functionality. I've made a tweak and *think* it is working properly again.

        Test.

        Edit: Huzzah!
