If you’re in London on Thursday 9 March, there’s an opportunity to attend an event where I will be giving a keynote speech about the state of computer security, and the serious threats that businesses are facing.
The event is being run by the folks at Ignition Technology at the UK’s tallest building, The Shard, and I’ll be kicking off the fun with a talk about the “Conveyor Belt of Cybercrime”.
If you think I’ll be speaking about ransomware – one of the biggest threats facing computer users today – you would be right. But there are a whole bunch of other threats that I’ll be covering that I believe we would be bonkers to disregard.
Here is the blurb from the event’s free registration page:
Join us for an educational and informative update on Ignition Technology’s innovative security & infrastructure solutions.
This session will highlight how the solutions have been successfully used in enterprise customers, cover the opportunity and arm you with enough information to take these technologies to your customers. Some of the topics to be covered will be Ransomware, Red-Teaming, GDPR, Digital Presence and the demise of the perimeter hardware stack to name a few.
We will also update you on our findings from RSA 2017, to give you an early insight into future market trends.
It sounds like a great opportunity to share some experiences with your peers, and a number of vendors – including Cylance, Menlo, Digital Guardian, and RiskIQ – will also be there.
Spaces are limited, so to have the best chance of attending be sure to register your interest as soon as possible – and I look forward to seeing some of you there!
And if you can’t make it to The Shard be sure to check out other events on my speaking schedule over the coming months.
