Bloggers' lounge

Last week I found myself speaking for a few days at a hotel next to Sherwood Forest, near Nottingham.

It was a perfectly pleasant hotel, and it was a beautiful old building, but my cell phone couldn’t get any reception, the Wi-Fi was practically non-existent and the landlines were down.

All of which meant that I wasn’t able to find out what had happened at a glittering awards ceremony, over a hundred miles away in Piccadilly, London.

Which explains why it took me a few days to find out that grahamcluley.com had won the title of “Tech Blog of the Year” at the Bloggers’ Lounge awards.

Huzzah!

Blog award

Be sure to visit the Bloggers’ Lounge awards website to view the list of all the winners, and other blogs that were nominated, as there are many fine websites up there – covering everything from tech, travel and design, to fashion, lifestyle and parenting.

Thank you to everybody who voted, and to the wonderful and marvellously discerning panel of judges, to everyone who contributes their time and expertise writing for the site, to my sponsors for their support, and – of course – to all of you reading.

If no-one was reading, this site simply wouldn’t exist. So thank you for your support!

It’s very heart-warming to have the site recognised by others in the blogging community. What a great start to 2016!
