Here are some important points made by the owner-operator of a UK ISP regarding the porn checks.

This was hilarious. I'm not about to expose myself since I no longer watch porn. It is addictive. However, there was this movie called "porky's" when I was in high school or there abouts which was ~40 years ago. In it someone was naked and standing on his head. The shot was a tight shot of his naked crotch. It looked just like some guy with very baggy eyes and a long nose, Dick Butkiss, an American pro football player was also in it with an "It's not even out of the box joke.

    Fascinating episode, thanks.
