Kai, the hatchet-wielding hitchhiker, tells all but his name

Kai, a hitchhiker who used his hatchet to stop a man that thought he was Jesus Christ from killing people in Fresno, California, has become a YouTube sensation.

Check out this news report from Jessob Reisbeck of KMPH News:

Kai, Hatchet Wielding Hitchhiker, Saves the Day (KMPH Orignal Story)

Smash! Smash!! SMAASH!!!

However, if you watch the raw, unedited footage of Kai’s interview (warning – there is some highly offensive language in the video, so you may not want to watch it at work) you’ll notice he declines to give his full name or age:

Kai: I’m Kai.. straight out of Dogtown.. K.A.I.

Reporter: Do you have a last name?

Kai (laughing): No bro. I don’t have anything.

Reporter: How old are you?

Kai (shrugging): I can’t call it.

He’s certainly being a lot more careful than many of the people we tried to trick into handing over their names and dates of birth on the streets of Bristol a few years ago…
