InfoWorld tests McAfee, Sophos, Symantec, Trend Micro and Check Point

InfoWorld has published an in-depth test of computer security products from McAfee, Symantec, Trend Micro, Check Point and – of course – Sophos.

InfoWorld’s conclusion was that “Sophos Endpoint Security and Control covers all important bases regarding to client security by bundling anti-virus, anti-spyware, firewall, application control, host intrusion protection, and network access control. The management console is very intuitive, and the reporting engine provides all the information admins will need. It offers a wide range of platform support, including Linux, Unix, OpenVMS, and Mac.”

Which was rather nice of them to say.
